Everyday Smock

The Everyday Smock is a true four season piece- I love to pop them over a cozy sweater in the colder months, and in the summer we toss them over bike shorts, a bathing suit, or just our undies, or not. Don't judge. Any way they are worn, they add pockets and coverage where there would otherwise be none, or not enough. 

These smocks are longer than Sketchbook Jackets and shorter than Frocks- we keep the original shirt hem intact, so they are generally the same length as our Gallery Tunics and Trail Jackets. Smock pockets are the same size & shape as Sketchbook pockets, but do not have the side entry opening.

This Everyday Smock is crafted from a cotton shirt that I hand dyed to a lovely indigo blue with cloud-like variations throughout. The pockets and back piece are sewn from cottons in cool tones, some hand dyed. This is one of our scrap busting patterns.

These Smocks can be worn open or closed. If you would like the option to wear yours buttoned, we recommend ordering a Tunic that has chest, waist, and hip measurements at least 2" above your own body measurements. 

Because all materials have been pre-washed, you don't need to worry about your Flux Bene shrinking, stretching or pilling. All are machine washable and can be tumble dried. All dyes and inks are heat set.
